The Clown: Emotional redo of The Winner in regards to a cleaned-up, self-hating comic with a committed child who looks out for him. Skelton's good in a rare dramatic role. Considine is so excellent he defeats some of the hokiness of script. Charles Bronson has a tiny role in dice game scene. Cast includes Red Skelton, Tim Considine, Jane Greer, Loring Smith, and Philip Ober. (91 minutes, 1953)
The Dunwich Horror: Adaptation of H. P. Lovecraft's tale in regards to wizard Stockwell's malevolent plans for lady friend Dee. The movie is often powerful, although the ending spoils the entire film. Cast includes Sandra Dee, Dean Stockwell, Ed Begley, Sam Jaffe, Lloyd Bochner, Joanna Moore, and Talia Coppola. Alien vs Predator: Lame tryefort to allure fans of the Alien and Predator films, with the scenario engaging an archeological journey to the ends of the world, a weird underground planet, and the presence of the catastrophic Alien and Predator beasts. Slave Girl: Story of adventure with a sinister man keeping Americans captive. This film should not to be taken seriously (there's even a speaking camel). Cast includes Yvonne De Carlo, George Brent, Broderick Crawford, Albert Dekker, Lois Collier, Andy Devine, and Arthur Treacher. (80 minutes, 1947)
MacArthur: Intense, look at the legend of the elaborate militiary chief throughout WW2 and Korean Battle. Peck is phenomenal although film doesn't hold the punch of Patton. Cast includes Gregory Peck, Dan O'Herlihy, Ed Flanders, Sandy Kenyon, Dick O'Neill, and Craft Fleming. (130 minutes, 1977)
Jack London: Hokey, episodic "biography" of famed author invests too much time maligning Japanese which was assumed to give topical slope to this period drama in 1943 Cast includes Michael O'Shea, Susan Hayward, Osa Massen, Harry Davenport, Frank Craven, and Virginia Mayo. (94 minutes, 1943)
